Majidi appointed Iran’s representative to UNESCO

TEHRAN, May 9 (MNA) – Here on Wednesday, Mohammadreza Majidi was officially appointed Iran’s ambassador and the permanent representative to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Mahdi Zahedi nominated Mohammadreza Majidi for the post and President Mahmud Ahmadinejad approved the appointment.

 

Majidi had been serving as advisor to science minister before the appointment.
